1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Paidnot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Paidnot is a subscription and expense tracking application that helps users manage their recurring payments, subscriptions, loans, and other financial obligations. The Service includes both free and paid (Pro) tiers with different feature sets.

3. Account Registration

To use our Service, you must:

• Be at least 16 years old
• Provide accurate and complete registration information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Free and Pro Plans

4.1 Free Plan

The free plan includes:

• Track up to 10 subscriptions/expenses
• Basic statistics and calendar view
• Limited icon selection

4.2 Pro Plan (€4.99/month)

The Pro plan includes:

• Unlimited subscription tracking
• Family sharing (up to 5 members)
• AI-powered spending insights
• Advanced analytics and charts
• Data export (CSV and PDF)
• Full icon library access
• Priority support

5. Payment and Billing

• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• You can cancel your subscription at any time
• Upon cancellation, you retain access until the end of your billing period
• No refunds are provided for partial months

6. User Content and Data

You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your data solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter. The Service is a tracking tool and does not automatically process payments on your behalf.

7. Family Sharing

Pro users can invite up to 5 family members to share expense tracking. The account owner (subscription holder) is responsible for all activities within their family group. Invited members can view and manage shared expenses but cannot modify billing or account settings.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated means to access the Service without permission
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We are not a financial advisor and the AI insights feature is for informational purposes only.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paidnot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of the Service, including but not limited to missed payments, late fees, or financial losses.

11. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our systems.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the European Union. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the appropriate courts.
